We have already checked out from the hostel on Ave. de Mayo in downtown BA. The car is coming in 45min and that's when we re saying gbye to P & M and L. I sooo don t long for the long flight to be honest, i ll be landing in Stockholm in 24h...

We´re still in El Calafate.

The day before yesterday, we all drove to the Los Glacieros National Park and took photos of the Perito Moreno glacier for an hour or so. It was constantly pouring so we did not spend much time there.

Yesterday, M, H and L went glacier hiking and got lucky with the weather =) in the evening we all went to some music festival where an apparently famous Argentinian ska band was providing the music. Gotta admit it was low quality ska...

Today afternoon, we´re flying back to BA where it will be above 30 C again. And then most of us are leaving for Europe tomorrow afternoon.

And for some reason H and L thinks my hair is perfect wherever we are backpacking, khmm. Somehow it´s never this perfect when in the office ;))

5 km hiking upwards, the last in snow. 5 km back downhill. My legs feel great right now, with a big beer in my hand.

I'm pretty sure Sz blogged about the way up to where we left them. So I'll blog the rest. :-) Today I climbed my first mountain. A shy 963 meters, but still! From sun and flowers and heavy forest to crouching trees and Lord of the Ring feeling to massive rock formations to green frog looking green bumps to the top. We even met a fox along the way.
